Problem: Your teacher requires you to use at least one or two actual books as sources for your research project, and you just can't find anything you need in the library.
Problem Solved: Our Gale Virtual Reference Collection consists of over 300 eBooks from every subject area. These are electronic versions of actual books in print, reproduced page-for-page, with photos, charts, and diagrams, right on your computer screen. You can print out the pages you need, in color, just like if you were standing in the library at a copy machine with the book in your hand. Except you don't have to search for the book on the shelves, or carry it to your table, or flip through the pages, or share it with another student. In fact, you don't even have to be in the library! These books are online, 24/7.
Click the button below to enter the virtual library. If you are not at school, you will need the Gale password to gain access. From the Basic Search screen, you can search the entire collection by typing keywords into the box, or browse individual books by clicking the plus sign (+) next to the subject area and then clicking on a title.
So now you have no excuses for not using a book!
As always, if you need help with anything, your friendly librarian is more than willing to assist.
