EBSCO
EBSCOhost (also with Spanish, German & French Versions) -- allows simultaneous searching in multiple databases of newspapers, magazines, journals, reference books, etc. EBSCOhost Web includes additional resources such as the History, Literary, Science, Health, and Teacher Reference Centers, Biography and Professional Development Collection, GreenFILE (a new environmental database), and more.
NoveList & NoveList K-8 -- a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists.
NoveList Plus & NoveList K-8 Plus (NEW!) -- the same as NoveList, only for non-fiction books.
Student Research Center -- multimedia database for student research covering all curriculum areas. Also includes links to The American Heritage Dictionary, Columbia Encyclopedia, and Teacher Resources from the EBSCO collection.
Points of View -- a series of controversial essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. Essays provide questions and materials for further thought and study and are accompanied by thousands of supporting articles from the world’s top political and societal publications.
Salud en Espanol -- Spanish language health database.
Searchasaurus -- a database for kids that includes a dictionary, encyclopedia, image collection, and a unique "visual search" feature.
Kids Search -- another database for kids that also includes a video search and tutorials.
